FEBRUARY AFTERNOON II, RIVER WYE

Gesso and acrylic on 300lb cotton paper.

76cm x 56cm

This is another version of the third of 6 paintings all inspired from one February afternoon circular walk from Goodrich, following the banks of the river Wye to Symonds Yat.  I was intrigued by the negative and positive shapes made by the winter branches.

I also find naming paintings can get a bit tortuous.
